Doctor Who Northampton connection

Montague Jeffery has appeared in the news before in relation to the time travelling doctor who wears Tweed. Last Friday (09 September) we made an appearance in the news again!

Closely related, the TV series Doctor Who has a lot of connections to Northamptonshire. For example, The Doctor is played by Matt Smith who was born and raised in Northampton, the theme music for the show was realised by Delia Derbyshire who spent her later life in Northampton, and Tom MacRae who is from Northamptonshire has written for the show.
